TIDENS SPOR - TRACKS OF TIME
An installation piece (8x3m) made in clay and wood and light, situated on an old Viking grave.
I was asked to reflect on the findings of this great grave, Vikingen fra Fregerslev, and make my own interpretations, based on the archaeology artefacts. Also to involve the children of the nearby school throughout artist workshops. It has been quite a journey from idea to the final piece. I have been up and down and worried and worked crazy hours and learned a lot. And now it is finished…
This site specific piece represent the past and the present, how history can cast its shadows on today and how that is reflected though time. Long story cut short.
